Hey, I’m Deepak, a UI/UX designer with a background in engineering and a passion for making tech feel simple, intuitive and human.

Right now, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Media & Information (HCI) at Michigan State University. My journey into design started on the backend, where I worked with system-level software at Qualcomm. Over time, I gradually shifted my focus to the frontend, aiming to better understand people, behaviors and how thoughtful design can make a real impact.

I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, from optimizing chip-level software to co-designing mental health tools for neurodivergent youth. I also bring experience in photography, graphic design, and social media strategy, all of which shape how I think about visual storytelling and user experience.

When I’m not designing or debugging, you’ll probably find me capturing moments behind a camera, exploring new design systems, or simplifying everyday tools to work better for more people.
